GUIDELINES FOR WORSHIP SERVICES DURING COVID-19
The province of British Columbia allows for public gatherings of up to 50 people at any one time, with the understanding that safety protocols including social distancing are maintained. This applies to both indoor and outdoor gatherings.
To best observe guidelines set forth by the Provincial Health Authority, we have elected to suspend the use of our church building for the time being. Instead, we have chosen to meet in an outdoor setting which allows for maximum social distancing and significantly decreased risk of transmission of the virus.
Please be advised that admittance to our Sunday gathers are by invitation only – to a maximum of 50 people. We would ask that you RSVP with Pastor Bryan by phone or text (250-877-3756). Let him know your name and the name of each person who will be attending with you. This information will be used to ensure we stay within the 50 person limit and to be used for “contact tracing” in the event of a positive test among one of our attendees.
We would ask that all attendees: to bring their own chairs, coffee and food; to practice appropriate social distancing (2 meters) at all times while at the church gathering; and to stay with your family and social circle.
Please do not attend if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or painful swallowing; if you or a family member are under the direction of a Provincial Health Official to self isolate; or if you have arrived from outside of Canada or been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days. The elderly and those with compromised immune systems are also encouraged to stay home.
Washroom facilities are available on the property with hand sanitization stations. Offering baskets will not be passed during the service. If you have brought your offering, please place it in the locked offering box at the front.
